WHAT IS IT:
WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water For Injections) is a sterile solution designed solely to be used with drugs that require dilution or must be dissolved in an aqueous vehicle before injection. WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water For Injections) is a highly purified, sterilized water containing 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol that is used to dilute or dissolve medications to the appropriate consistency for injection. Bacteriostatic water (BW) has a pH of about 5.7.
HOW TO USE:
This compound is indicated only for diluting or dissolving drugs for intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, according to instructions from the manufacturer of the drug to be administered.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE:
Store below 30°C.
Protect from light. Do not freeze.
